membership categories
Full Membership
Members enjoy unlimited use of the pool, tennis courts and clubhouse. One adult member over the age of 18 may play golf during prime-time and all members may play unlimited golf during non-prime time. Full members may opt for dual golf privileges for two adults upon payment of an additional monthly fee. All full golf members and their dependents are eligible to play in all major club championships.
Intermediate
Membership is limited to persons who are at least 21 years old and who have not reached their 40th birthday. Intermediate members have the same privileges as Full members.
Sports
Members have unlimited use of the pool, tennis courts and clubhouse. The membership* may use the golf facilities with payment of greens fees during non-prime time a maximum of 12 rounds per calendar year during non-prime time and with payment of appropriate fees.** Except when playing golf, Swim & Tennis members will not have privileges on the practice facilities (putting greens, short game area, driving range) unless purchased separately.
Clubhouse
Members have full clubhouse privileges. The membership* may use the pool and tennis courts a maximum of 6 times per calendar year with payment of appropriate fees. The membership may also play golf a maximum of 6 rounds per calendar year during non-prime and with payment of appropriate fees on their own and an additional 6 rounds per year when accompanied by another Argyle CC member** Except when playing golf, Clubhouse members will not have privileges on the practice facilities (putting greens, short game area, driving range) unless purchased separately.
Non-Resident
Non-Resident membership is open to all members who expect to be located more than 100 air miles from the club for at least one year. In addition to the annual fee, Non-Resident members pay 100% of greens fees and full guest fees for use of the golf and swimming/tennis facilities. Use of the golf course by the membership• will be limited to a maximum of 12 rounds per calendar year during non-prime time and with payment of appropriate fees.*
Emeritus
Membership is available to any member with 25 years of continuous membership who is at least 75 years old. Emeritus members have the same privileges as they enjoyed before qualifying for Emeritus membership with payment of dues equal to 50% below the prevailing rate. The number of Emeritus golf members is capped at 50, and the number of general Emeritus members is capped at 100.
Junior Golf Membership
Membership is limited to persons who are ages 17 and under, sponsored by an Argyle member, who agree to the code of conduct set forth by the pro shop. Members may use the golf course after 2:00 pm on weekends, anytime during weekdays except before 4pm on Wednesday.
Weekday
Members have the same privileges as other Full Golf members, except that they may not use Club facilities on the weekends or holidays, other than the dining room. Weekday members may use the driving range and other practice facilities 7 days a week.
Temporary
Members of other clubs may have privileges at Argyle while their respective club is undergoing renovations for a fee of $1000/year, which can be applied to a future initiation fee, plus monthly dues, no minimum shall apply. Temporary members may enjoy all facets of the club. Temporary Members’ accounts receivable must be current at their home club.
*The membership is defined as all of the adult and family members on the same membership account.
**Rounds per year are per membership. Twelve rounds may be played per year by any combination of the individual members on the membership account. Guests do not count against the rounds played.
Corporate
The corporation’s designees (up to four) may use the golf course, clubhouse, tennis courts, and swimming pool at all times subject to regulations and restrictions established by the Board of Directors. Corporate memberships may send unaccompanied guests to play golf (some restrictions and club rules and regulations may apply).
